Your Hope and Strength

There’s a light breeze and plenty of sunshine today in the lovely Willamette Valley of Oregon.  The kids have started a new school year.  Fall is right around the corner.  I can feel it in the air.

That means the rain is coming soon.  Most likely, a lot of it for quite a while.  It’s not the time of year I look forward to the most.

It’s also not the time to get sucked into a downward spiral.  It’s time to gain strength for some long days ahead.  For everything that looks gloomy, you and I have a Hope.  For you are my hope, O Lord GOD. Psalm 71:5 (NKJ)

For whatever lies ahead, we have a Source of strength.  But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NKJ)

Take hold of His hand and don’t let go.  Ever.
